The first major hurdle has been overcome on the way to a very special award .
An eco-label, awarded by the Federal Ministry, which is a member of the Global Ecolabelling Network and is given exclusively for particularly environmentally friendly products and services, has been applied for our King-Meiler. For this, the manufacturer, REIFEN HINGHAUS GmbH, first had to make a breakthrough for the relevant product group.
No company in this particular industry in Germany is yet allowed to display the badge. The knowledge about the savings of energy and resources through retreading makes us eagerly await the decision.
We gladly orient ourselves by higher standards than those set by law, and have been able to demonstrate some courage as pioneers with our application.
We are looking forward to the result in a few months and will be able to find out more about it here. Meanwhile, we have long dared to embark on further innovative projects.
