King-Meiler STREAX

With this summer tyre a premium tyre Made in Germany finds access to the market. The completely newly developed retreading process shows an optimal tyre from German production, which scores in all categories.

King-Meiler STREAX is based on revolutionary compounds for the tread and new ways of producing a retreaded tyre.

The cooperation between the Dutch tyre technology company MML BV and REIFEN HINGHAUS GmbH has efficiently bundled forces in the sectors of design, R&D, engineering, compounding and production processes, thus combining excellent capabilities with an outstanding ecological balance in one tyre.

Among the top achievements is an outstanding performance in the three disciplines which the EU Tyre Label* classifies for new tyres. In voluntarily imposed tests, the King-Meiler STREAX is the first retreaded tyre to be proven achieving the B-mark for both, wet grip and rolling resistance, and is low in terms of noise emissions with 70 decibel.

With its asymmetrical profile, it is particularly suitable for mid-range vehicles. The focus lies on low rolling resistance and low noise level. Its performance is excellent in dry as well as wet roadway. The result is a safe, comfortable and quiet ride with low fuel consumption. Approval for speeds of up to 270 km/h ensures high safety (speed index "W").

In conjunction with the ecologically oriented manufacturing process, which reduces CO₂ and saves resources, the production of the fuel-efficient, low rolling resistance and waste avoidance make the King-Meiler STREAX the perfect choice for most environmentally friendly tyres on the market.
