A few weeks ago, a television documentary entitled "Dirty tyres - a billion-dollar business" was filmed at our company amongst others. This documentary illuminates the path of rubber from Asia as well as tyre production and the opportunities of recycling. Even if the title may initially frighten a tire manufacturer or dealer, we expect fair and honest reporting with different insights into our production.

Although we can't see the content in advance, we are happy to point out this TV event, because we are sure of our quality and know that there are no more environmentally friendly tyres than our retreads.
Nowadays, the world is becoming increasingly aware of the consequences of climate change. REIFEN HINGHAUS GmbH was already aware decades ago that recycling and thus retreading tyres is the best alternative towards a standstill in movement and was the main reason for the company's foundation after the last war.
