The Turkish TV channel Vizyon searched for the origin of King-Meiler retread tyres.
Together with Mevlüt Erbay, well-known from the drift scene, the CEO of REIFEN HINGHAUS GmbH accompanied Gülbahar Merdivan through the entire production area. The drifter, which had caught the attention of Turkish television at the Essen Motor Show, provided support with his qualities as a translator between the languages of visitor and host.
Mark Hinghaus-Kaul vividly explained the manufacturing process starting with the casing to the end product, a retread tyre that has been able to compete with new tires in all terms of quality since a long time now.
Thanks to retreading, which saves up to 70% of ressources in comparison to the production of new tyres, not only drivers of cars, SUVs and light trucks are generally safer and more environmentally away on the road, but participants in racing series of the various classes and vehicle types can also pursue their hobby or even their profession by choosing the more ecologically valuable method of tyre production.
